Who Dat NOLA Beer Guide

NOLA Beer Guide is your premiere resource for everything beer in New Orleans.  We are made up of a collection of local beer lovers and beer bloggers who are passionate about beer and passionate about the city of New Orleans.

Featured writers:

Jeremy Labadie –  Jeremy aka The Beer Buddha has been involved in beer since he was a wee lad and his dad dressed him up as Billy Carter for Halloween.  He moved to New Orleans in 1995 where he attended Tulane University and majored in Social Science and heavy drinking.   Jeremy has experience in beer distribution, beer retail and the brewery side of beer covering the three tier system perfectly.  He is the founder of www.thebeerbuddha.com,  is an occasional contributor to The Gambit and has been featured on The Tom Fitzmorris Food Show on WWL Radio 1350 and The Ginty and Brady Morning Show on Rock 92.3.  You can follow Jeremy on Twitter and “friend” him on Facebook.

Beer BitchNora McGunnigle aka NOLA Beer Bitch loves beer and loves New Orleans and is super glad that she can blog about these things on a domain that she can share with her mom and church-going ladies.  She is originally from New England and moved to New Orleans the spring of 2010 to pursue her two dreams of helping others and opening up her own brewpub. She has accomplished the first, serving as operations manager for a local non-profit, and is still working on the second. She invites any potential investors to comment on her blog and all others to follow her on Twitter and to check out her second blog, Nora In NOLA.

Matt Austin  – aka The Beer Squatch  has been an equal opportunity drinker enjoying dandy drinks and tasty grub in, and around, New Orleans since 2007.  He has experience in beer distribution, the food and drink service industries, radio and print media, and about a decade of home brewing experience.  He teaches writing and has written for The Examiner, I’m Pouring and a few non-profit publications.  You can follow him on Twitter.
